This has been up for a few months already (actually) and I did not notice it (even though I have been visiting NHK world videos a lot, oops).

Anyway, Hikaru Katsuki, creator of Baby Steps! is involved on a NHK World series titled "Animation x Paralympics: Who Is Your Hero?". Each episode is a short animation (around 5 minutes) which features a certain sports with a theme.

Eiichiro and Natsu are in the 3rd episode entitled Wheelchair Tennis which features Shingo Kunieda, a Japanese wheelchair player.

For those who have not known it yet (like me earlier), according to Anime News Network, the manga series is about to end in 3 chapters.

For those who are not updated with the recent releases in Baby Steps fandom, a new official fanbook entitled All-A Notes Pro. I have not seen it yet so I do not have much information. Anyway, feel free to share information about this.

Also, Volume 42 has been released as well so buy those stuff whenever possible! :D

Those who are wishing for season 3, it seems that you have to wait further. It was announced that Baby Steps is going to have a live action adaptation, as mentioned in the 27th issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine (where Baby Steps manga is currently serialized).

As such, whether we can put details about it or not ... let's see. Probably the cast? But for now, just hope that there will be raws available.

Imangascans, the team who handled the release of unofficial English scans until now, has released a statement regarding on Baby Steps' Unofficial English scans. According to them,

The folks at Angelic Scanlations have offered to help, so we’re transferring the series to them and offering them any assistance as they need it. (Source).

Just a simple heads up for those people who are (im)patiently waiting for the release of English scans. And remember to buy the manga/anime DVD/whatever original merchandise to show your support to the mangaka if you can! /wink

when is the new manga coming out 

Does anyone know how to get a baby steps shirt? i saw some cool ones in pictures at an anime expo in japan but i can't find them on any sites or ebay.

Eiichiro is not your typical shonen main character. Unlike most main characters, he is a total beginner but as he practices and learns more, his ability levels up. Also, he experiences a lot of losses, sometimes, it happens on a critical moment. Just when you expect him to win, he loses.

As a reader of this manga and/or watches the anime, what is your view regarding on Eiichiro's loses? Are his loses worth it or he is just a loser who never learns? When is (probably) the time that you can just say "I'm done with this manga/anime because he loses again"? Or probably, in one way or another, you can relate to his losing experiences?
