All-Japan Championship Preliminaries (全日本選手権予選 Zen Nihon Senshuken Yosen) is the preliminary round for All-Japan Championship, which gives a chance to the players who were initially not included in All-Japan Championship's main bracket.
A player has to win the three rounds of preliminaries in order to be part of All-Japan Championship's final selection. The runner-up of All-Japan Junior Tennis Tournament is granted to participate to this tournament as wild card. Like in All-Japan Championship, the committee may invite more players as wild cards to participate.
